The same day of the Zoo field trip was the first night of the Circus, so I decided I would start & end my day with animals.
The circus was held in the junior colleges arena due to weather.
We got in alittle late cuz we ate out and dessert took a long time.
Here are our seats at the end in chairs.
Wish we got seats in the bleachers, but this was cool. We sat right next to the sphere cage where the motorcycle stunts were.
Probably the most excitement the boys could see really good.
Matt with his bag of peanuts...
One of my favorite parts of the evening, during the national anthem, the ringmaster was saluting the flag & so did my boys....I was so proud & and even a few tears...
The lions and tigers were so beautiful, they strolled past us and were in the ring furthest from us.
the boys during the show
I felt so bad cuz they all wanted the light sabers that everyone had....they were 15 bucks....I said sorry
Instead I got them an elephant ride that cost me 20, they loved it, but poor Marcel was too small to ride.
Getting back to our seats before the 2nd half.
So they say that the circus is for the whole family....I guess this was the part for the daddies, it was literally like stripper dancing in the air. The boys loved it & of course it was hanging in the ring in front of us.
I broke down and bought them these nifty glow necklaces....they were 5 bucks a piece...and they were fine after they got the blinking lights.End of the evening is near, the motor cycles were coming out
It was loud and awesome....right in front of us. The exhaust sucked.....
Then it was time to bring out the elephants...they were cool
I must say I've never been to the circus and not seen any clowns...
Where were the clowns???
