MATTIAS' BIRTHDAY STARTED OUT AT SCHOOL

MATT'S BIRTHDAY IS THE DAY BEFORE VETERANS DAY SO HE IS KINDA LUCKY THAT HE GETS THE NEXT DAY OFF. CALCIUM PRIMARY HAS A VETERANS DAY TRIBUTE EVERY YEAR. NOT ONLY WAS THIS DAY SPECIAL FOR MATT BECAUSE OF HIS BIRTHDAY, BUT ALSO BECAUSE HE CARRIED THE FLAG AT THE BEGINING OF THE CEREMONY.

HE WAS SO NERVOUS BEFORE THEY GOT THINGS ROLLING.

THE FLAG WITH LEGS REALLY IS MATTIAS.

AFTER SCHOOL AT HOME WE GOT PRESENTS UNDERWAY BEFORE OUR GUESTS ARRIVED FOR CAKE & ICE CREAM.

I AM GETTING USED TO MY GHETTO CAKE MAKING

I MADE A STENCIL AND TRIED TO SPRAY THE BLACK ON...IT DIDNT WORK, IT RAN AS YOU CAN SEE ON THE SIDES. SO I LINED IT AND FILLED IT IN...THANKS FOR THE CAKE DECORATING CLASSES MOM. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AN EXPENSIVE CUSTOM CAKE OUT HERE IN THE BOONIES

That is rain in the background by the way. It rained up until an hour before we left to go out trick or treating......

I had the kids decorate their pumpkins this year...its a lot less of a mess with the lil ones.

It's sad because 1 of the pumpkins rotted and I had to give Marcel a bucket to decorate instead.

Halloween at Calcium Primary

As you go into Mattias' schools Atrium you can see the spirit of Halloween everywhere. Here in a display case and below with the pumpkins made by kids and some adults.

The pumpkins were awesome in person....
