WELCOME TO OUR HOME

So, since we have arrived everybody has been asking to see pictures of our new house, all that is fine, but it is still a work in progress. As of today, we still have un-opened boxes and some that I have flat out ignored in our garage... the photo is a picture of our side of the unit...remember military housing so our house is not free standing, but we have awesome neighbors, they have 3 kids too!! check out that sky, isn't it beautiful??

this is the "Christmas Tree" next to our house.....its huge.... and there is a shot with the tree and the house together

Lets go inside now, shall we??....We'll start downstairs

This is the living room from 2 ends

The kitchen and our patheticly empty dining room...those are the sliding glass doors to the huge backyard we have...it has a playground directly behind our house, how lucky could we have gotten for that.....

shall we go upstairs now???....
pic#1 This is Mattias' room.... I don't know why I didn't take a picture of the other boys room sorry
pic#2 This is in the master bedroom... a shot of the computer corner...nothing special
pic#3 Picture of the other side of the computer...our bed
now don't be angry that I didn't post pictures of the bathrooms...I'll give you the lowdown
I have 3 bathrooms and they all have toilets, you get the idea right!!!
Thats what I have so far for the interior of the house...next time I'll take you around the town

Well here it goes.....
We have been in New york since August 15th '08 , so we've been here nearly 4 months now so I guess we have some catching up to do.....
We left California and our 1 bedroom apartment and traded it for a 3 bedroom 2 story house so far so good. I miss the California sun, but now I have a whole other beautiful sky to love and admire... when we left it was sooo hot, like OMG i'm gonna die without AC kind of heat, and when we arrived it was soo comfortable for being August ....I think it was in the 80's. Since then we have witnessed the most beautiful seasonal transitions from Summer to Fall, now we are getting an early preview of how our Winters will be....the picture above is at a rest stop somewhere along the way.
My mom , sister Jamie, and nephew Andrew helped us drive our second car across the country...THANKS GUYS...unfortunately they needed to leave and couldn't stay to take in some of the sights of my new hometown....My nephew made a funny observation- we used to live in Atwater Village in California and now we live in Watertown, so he asked " hey Auntie, what is it with you guys and water where you live" I don't know my dear but it was cute. When they left a few weekends later we took in some sights and took a boat ride to a castle...if any of you come visit we have to take you here it is so pretty in person...this little building is a dock house for visitors where they can leave their boats...lovely isn't it.....this is 1 side of the beautiful castle...sorry about the shade but you get the point right....
here are a few other views of this piece of beauty that is in the 1000 islands community....
The next few weeks we settled in and I was unpacking and setting up shop cause we think we will be here for the next 4 years...believe me next time we will move ourselves instead of using movers...I still can't find things even 4 months later and even now I still have boxes still taped up and not gone thru...
Okay I'll end this post and start a new one with pictures of our house...remember its still not all put together.......... bye for now
